Black & Blue
posted by Queen Beewho loves Cubic Zirconia??
I DO!! And so do you, because we have now popped off 4 events with them that you all have sold out and danced to until the wee hours.
Lets do it again!
Your favorite band has a new single out called Black & Blue coming out on their very own record label Don’t Cry Records. The single has remixes by Good Peoples fav Vin Sol, as well as Bim Marx & OneAuff.
and better yet they made an incredible video for it…
Cubic Zirconia wanted to really connect with their love of visual art AND music and instead of doing a raging show, or throw down club night, they wanted to make this more intimate, and connect with people in a new medium… and so, in stepped the Dash Gallery. The unique space and message behind it is the perfect backdrop for this single and its video, and its a testament to their artistic vision being noticed and recognized throughout mediums and parts of the music industry.
So…. take one great band, one loving promoter (ahem), and one multi medium art space and bring them all together with some crazy DJs who made amazing remixes and you get this special night.
space is incredibly limited to make sure you RSVP to cubiczirconiaband@gmail.com
come party with us at the launch on June 15th, and then come back throughout the week for interactive events with the band and the crew every night through June 20th.
That’s not enough? well how about a free Black & Blue MiniMix for free download?

This is what the band has to say about the music:
As we began the process of curating this single, we really felt that the original had that dusty 5am, the lights are about to turn on but keep dancing until they won’t let you anymore, and that felt like new york.
We decided that we wanted the record to involve as much of NYC as possible, hence the remixers (bim marx, vin sol, and oneauff) the artists (mark roth cover art, and julian gilbert (tour photographer) and Inner City Avant Garde. We shot the video on a whim with khalil joseph in LA and it turned out brilliant.
When we were thinking of a place to launch the single, it was hard because we were looking at different venues for the art and the performance. When we met with the Dash Gallery we felt a family vibe and a room of people working because they wanted too. It felt very family and driven by creativity. We are really looking forward to blending it all together on june 15th.
